Steve Thompson has expertise and experience in the digital industry spanning 20 years of media disruption and innovation, specialising in talent development in digital publishing, marketing and advertising.

Steve’s work includes digital consultancy, talent identification and talent development as well as speaking at conferences and events.    Steve’s experience includes work at one of the first digital creative agencies in the 1990s, creating digital businesses within Newsquest Media Group, and being a key driver in the development of the fish4 business in the UK.

Thompson Digital Training has been privileged to work with a fascinating range of media clients in the UK and Europe including The Telegraph Media Group, News UK, Guardian Media Group, Haymarket Media Group, Independent News & Media, Daily Mail Group Ireland, Conde Nast, Hearst, Time Inc, Autotrader, Mindshare, Ryannair, UBM, Incisive Media.  Steve runs digital training workshops and professional accreditation courses for the IAB in the UK, Ireland and Europe.

With additional interests in behavioral economics, the biological basis of behaviour, data, statistics and analytics, learning theories and elite sports performance, Steve is dedicated to developing and connecting digital expertise at all levels from C-suite and senior management to graduates, onboarders and interns.
